The Immigrant (1917)

The Tramp is an immigrant who endures a difficult voyage to the United States, during which he is accused of theft, and befriends a young lady along the way. He later meets her at a restaurant and incurs the wrath of the burly head waiter when it becomes apparent he is penniless.
